The UF Association of Hispanic Alumni invites to you and your family join us at the 8th Annual Hispanic Alumni Weekend on September 16-17, 2016.
Reconnect with Gator alumni and meet current UF students as we enjoy a weekend of networking and celebration in the heart of the Gator Nation.
We are happy to announce that we will be working with the Center for Latin American Studies, Warrington College of Business and the Latin American Library to add an educational component to this year's Hispanic Alumni Weekend.
The weekend will begin at 10:00 am on Friday, September 16 with a presentation on "The Economic and Business Outlook for Latin America in 2017" by Dr. Brian Gendreau, Hough Professor, Warrington College of Business at the Latin American and Caribbean Collection of the Smathers Libraty.
Partnering with the Center for Latin American Studies, we will then host a reception at the University House (2151 West University Avenue) from 7:30-10:00 pm complete with cocktails, appetizers and live music.
The celebration continues on Saturday with the Gator Guayabera Guateque Encore Celebration at La Salita from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. We will then head to Emerson Alumni Hall for the pregame Gator Nation Tailgate from 3:30 to 6:30 pm followed by the Gators taking on the North Texas Mean Green at the Swamp at 7:30 pm.
The weekend is free for all UF Alumni Association (UFAA) members and $40 for non-members and includes a single annual membership in the UFAA.
