Dana L. Somerstein

Dana L. Somerstein, BA ’10, JD ’13, is a partner in the Real Estate, Finance, and Banking Transactions Group at Greenspoon Marder LLP in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A double Gator, she earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, where she served as President of Florida Blue Key and was inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame in 2013.

Dana has been recognized as one of the University of Florida Alumni Association’s 40 Gators Under 40. She specializes in a broad range of real estate transactions across the United States, including acquisitions, sales, financing, and leasing of commercial and residential properties. She also serves on her firm’s Diversity Council and Training Committee.

Recognized as a leader in her field, Dana has been honored as a Florida Rising Star by Super Lawyers for multiple years and was included in The Best Lawyers in America for 2024 and 2025.

Active in her community, Dana contributes to several legal and philanthropic organizations, enhancing her professional impact with substantial community service.

Dana is serving her first term, which will expire 6/30/2028.
