On May 20, Gator Clubs® from around the world will unite to utilize the size and spirit of The Gator Nation® to positively impact local communities. Each club will take on a project that is important to their community and will volunteer the time and talents of their members to serve others. This year the Birmingham Gator Club will support Do Dah Day.  https://www.dodahday.org/

Do Dah Day is Birmingham’s oldest event.  A music festival that in its infancy was enjoyed by 200 fun-loving Birmingham citizens, now sees people from all over the United States converge on Birmingham’s Historic Highland Parks for a day of fun, food and music with their pets.  Raising more than $1.3 million since 1992 for Jefferson County animal shelters, Do Dah Day is one of the city’s most cherished springtime events. Do Dah Day, Inc., is an all-volunteer, not for profit organization whose mission is to raise funds to benefit homeless animals in the Birmingham and Jefferson County areas. The 2017 Beneficiaries are the Greater Birmingham Humane Society and Friends of Cats and Dogs Foundation.  https://www.dodahday.org/
