NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! FLORIDA GATORS WIN NCAA MEN'S BASKETBALL TITLE!

The Florida Gators are your 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball National Champions! In a heart-stopping contest against the Houston Cougars, the Gators clawed their way to victory, securing their third national title and first since 2007! This unforgettable game saw the Gators down by as many as 12 points in the second half, demonstrating incredible grit and determination as they mounted a stunning comeback to tie the game and ultimately take the lead in the final minute. In a thrilling battle of Florida's offense versus Houston's renowned defense, it was the Gators' defense that sealed the championship, forcing a critical turnover on the Cougars' final possession. Head Coach Todd Golden, at just 39 years old, became the youngest coach since the tournament expanded to 64 teams to win a national title. With Clayton being shutdown for most of the first half, Richard put the Gators on his back and tallied 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting, including 4-of-6 from long range.
