Mike White has recorded a 123-75 record in six seasons as Florida’s men’s basketball head coach, leading the Gators to 63 Southeastern Conference wins and six NCAA Tournament victories. Florida’s overall, conference and NCAA Tournament wins all rank No. 2 in the SEC from 2015-21, and White moved into No. 3 on UF’s all-time wins list last season. The Gators are one of only six teams in the nation who have won a game in each of the last four NCAA Tournaments.

In addition to the team’s on-court accomplishments, the Gators have also been exceptionally successful in the classroom recently. Following the Spring 2021 semester, Anthony Duruji became the 11th student-athlete to graduate during White’s tenure. No fewer than four players have earned academic recognition from the SEC every season under his watch, including a program-record 10 in 2018-19 and a national academic player of the year (Canyon Barry, 2016-17). Under White’s mentorship, all three assistant coaches from his original Florida coaching staff have earned head coaching jobs.
