An Evening of Q & A with Johnny Townsend

Johnny Townsend is an All-American punter who played for the University of Florida from 2013 to 2017. He started for the Gators as a true freshman and was selected to the SEC All-Freshman team. Johnny was the nation’s NCAA leader in punt average for 2016 and 2017, and is the all-time leader in total yards punted in Florida Gator history. Johnny was named to the first and second team All-American and SEC teams for 2014-2017. He was selected in the 2018 NFL Draft in Round 5 by the Oakland Raiders. Our Mission: The Sarasota County Gator Club® is an affiliate organization of the University of Florida Alumni Association, consisting of alumni, parents and friends of the University of Florida, bound together for the purpose of assisting the university and the Alumni Association achieve its goals and objectives. The Sarasota County Gator Club’s® goal is to foster a spirit of loyalty, unity and cooperation among the graduates, former students and friends of the University of Florida. All proceeds from our events go towards our Scholarship Fund which benefits Sarasota County high school graduates attending the University of Florida. Over the past five years, the Sarasota County Gator Club® has donated over $55,000!
