The Broward County Gator Club is powered entirely by volunteers — Gators who give their time to bring the University of Florida community together right here in Broward County. Whether you have a few hours a month or want a more active role, there's a place for you in the Gatorhood.
Ways to Get Involved
Game Day Captains
Help run the show at our football watch parties throughout the season. Game Day Captains greet fellow Gators, support raffle and drawing activities, and help keep game day running smoothly at our partner venues.
Event Support
Lend a hand at club events throughout the year — from our Gatorhood Kickoff Celebration to Gators Do Great Things to community meetups. Event volunteers help with setup, check-in, and hospitality so every gathering feels welcoming.
Committee & Board Involvement
For Gators looking for a deeper commitment, BCGC board and committee roles offer the chance to help shape club programming, scholarships, and community outreach.
Why Volunteer?
Every volunteer hour helps fund scholarships for local students headed to UF, strengthens the Gator community across South Florida, and keeps the Gator Tradition thriving in Broward County.
