International Gator Day

Dear Gator Club Members, This Saturday, April 12 , the Cincinnati Gator Club will participate in the UFAA's International Gator Day by utilizing the size and spirit of our great Gator alumni chapter to positively impact our local community. You are invited to join us at Oakley Community Cleanup , located at Crossroad Parking Lot, 3500 Madison Road from 9:00 to 11:00 am . Bags of Hope - International Gator Day

International Gator Day is setup for Gators around the world to unite to utilize the size and spirit of Gator Nation to positively impact our local communities. We are doing two events on two different days. On Wednesday , May 14th from 6 to 8pm , we are gathering at the Bags of Hope in Cornelius. We will pack school backpacks with non perishable food for local students with food insecurity. Palm Beach County Gator Club® International Gator Day at Loggerhead Marinelife Center

Saturday, May 17, 2025, is International Gator Day, a day in which Gator Clubs® and Affiliate Groups around the world unite to utilize the size and spirit of the Gator Nation® to positively impact local communities. Gators will join together to support projects and programs within their local communities, using their time and talents to serve others. Join us at Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach again this year for a beach clean-up to save the turtles. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and water (preferably a reusable tumbler instead of plastic water bottles) and pick up a Gator IGD t-shirt and other swag at check-in!

Charlotte Knights Baseball Game

On May 23rd at 7:04pm we will see the Charlotte Knights PLAY BALL at Truist Field. Come out for the game and stay for the fireworks, as we kick off the summer at the old ball field. It’s a Friday night with the Gators.

This event is for ALL GATORS to meet! We expect to have incoming Gators, current Gators, and Gator Alumni! We will be under the Big Red Tent. Gators can purchase their own food and drink, and the club will provide free Gator swag.

Alligator Snapping Turtle Presentation

The Panhandle Gator Club and Gulf Coast State College present Kevin Enge, Research Scientist with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, to share his expertise and experiences studying Alligator Snapping Turtles over the last fifteen years. Alligator Snapping Turtles are large and ancient reptiles that inhabit many of Florida’s rivers and sloughs. Join us at 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 26th in the Sarzin Lecture Hall at Gulf Coast State College. Admission is free.

3rd Annual Clay Shoot & Silent Auction

In the Spring of 2024, over one hundred local high school seniors applied for a scholarship from the Gator Club of Jacksonville. Having been accepted into the University of Florida, these eager future Gators represented some of the brightest of the brightest. With the high standards set forth by UF, the nation’s #1 public university, it was no surprise these applicants excelled in academics, community service, sports, leadership, and various extracurriculars. Narrowing down these talented applicants was no small feat! After thoughtful consideration, the Gator Club of Jacksonville’s board members voted and 12 worthy applicants rose to the top. As a result of the club’s tireless fundraising efforts last year, the scholarship recipients were awarded $2500 each to offset the cost of their freshman year. In anticipation of another crop of eager future Gators, the Gator Club of Jacksonville is actively fundraising to make the orange and blue dreams of 2025’s awardees come true. Our goal is to exceed last year’s fundraising to provide as many, if not more, future UF students with scholarships.

Lady Gator Softball Road Trip

We are looking to be a home base in Columbia, South Carolina, for anyone traveling down for the Gators Women's Softball team's road game against the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday. We are trying to set up a meetup with the team on Saturday at the team hotel. We are still working on that. Take the 77 down to Columbia and join us to root on the Lady Gators. More info coming.

2026 Tampa Gator Club Golf Tournament

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, we will proudly host our annual Scholarship Golf Tournament at the scenic Westchase Golf Club , starting at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. This event supports funding of 15 scholarships for local Hillsborough and Pasco County students attending the University of Florida. Our Scholarship Golf Tournament represents one of the cornerstones of our philanthropic efforts, raising over $50,000 in scholarship funds. The success of this event hinges on the support of individuals and businesses like yours and we believe it presents a unique opportunity to align with our mission and gain valuable exposure within our community. The goal of our tournament is to accomplish two main objectives: Raise as many scholarship dollars as possible for our future Gator students Have a fun and memorable golfing experience A few things to know Registration Fee Covers: Green Fees, Range Balls, Golf Cart Fees, Breakfast and coffee, Lunch, drinks on the course, a Golfer Swag Bag, and the chance to win multiple prizes! Follow the route provided via Google Maps We will be playing “par golf” to ensure a more efficient round of golf. If you are at par on a hole, pick up your ball and score yourself with a par. You CAN buy mulligans too! The Pro Shop will be open if you forget anything
