Palm Beach County Gator Club® International Gator Day at Loggerhead Marinelife Center

Saturday, May 17, 2025, is International Gator Day, a day in which Gator Clubs® and Affiliate Groups around the world unite to utilize the size and spirit of the Gator Nation® to positively impact local communities. Gators will join together to support projects and programs within their local communities, using their time and talents to serve others. Join us at Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach again this year for a beach clean-up to save the turtles. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and water (preferably a reusable tumbler instead of plastic water bottles) and pick up a Gator IGD t-shirt and other swag at check-in!

On May 23rd at 7:04pm we will see the Charlotte Knights PLAY BALL at Truist Field. Come out for the game and stay for the fireworks, as we kick off the summer at the old ball field. It’s a Friday night with the Gators.

Q4 Trash Pick Up

Join us Saturday, December 6th, at 8 a.m. for our third quarter trash pickup at the corner of Glenwood Ave (Hwy 70) and Triangle Drive! Participants will pick up trash along a two mile stretch on Glenwood Ave (Hwy 70) in Raleigh, between CarMax and The Angus Barn. Safety vests, gloves, and trash bags will be provided. We will begin the trash pick up at 9:00 a.m. and lasts about an hour and a half. We will meet in the parking area at the intersection of Glenwood Ave/Triangle Dr. next to the Bicycle Chain. Brunch will be provided afterwards. Minors ages 12 and older are welcome and encouraged to participate! Those minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 21 years of age or older. Please complete the Youth Participation Release Form for each minor that will participate and bring it to the trash pickup: http://www.ncdot.gov/download/programs/AAH/AAHYouthParticipationReleaseForm.pdf . An email will be sent out December 6th by 8:00 a.m. if we have to reschedule because of rain. The rain date will be Saturday, December 13th.

Game tickets in our block are $60 per ticket. Bus tickets are available for $60 per passenger. To purchase tickets: Fill out the registration form so we have your contact info. Send payment for the total amount via paypal or pay in cash or check at a football watch party Notes: The purpose of this event is to raise funds in support of the Gateway Gator Club Scholarship fund. For every ticket sold, ~$5 will support a local high school student in their freshman year at the University of Florida. The bus to Columbia is a 56 passenger motor coach (with a bathroom!) and will have two pickup/drop-off locations: Forest Park Lower Muny Lot - departs 3:30pm and returns ~12:25am Streets of St. Charles - departs 4:10pm and returns ~11:50pm We will breakeven on the bus cost with 27 passengers. 3rd Annual Clay Shoot & Silent Auction

In the Spring of 2024, over one hundred local high school seniors applied for a scholarship from the Gator Club of Jacksonville. Having been accepted into the University of Florida, these eager future Gators represented some of the brightest of the brightest. With the high standards set forth by UF, the nation’s #1 public university, it was no surprise these applicants excelled in academics, community service, sports, leadership, and various extracurriculars. Narrowing down these talented applicants was no small feat! After thoughtful consideration, the Gator Club of Jacksonville’s board members voted and 12 worthy applicants rose to the top. As a result of the club’s tireless fundraising efforts last year, the scholarship recipients were awarded $2500 each to offset the cost of their freshman year. In anticipation of another crop of eager future Gators, the Gator Club of Jacksonville is actively fundraising to make the orange and blue dreams of 2025’s awardees come true. Our goal is to exceed last year’s fundraising to provide as many, if not more, future UF students with scholarships.
