Join us at Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach again this year for a beach clean-up to save the turtles. We will assist them by packing the food to be given to the kids for the weekend so they don’t come to school hungry on Monday morning. Proper nutrition is the foundation for school success.     International Gator Day of service is May 16th, so come do your gators good by helping us to pick up trash with family and friends to help make a difference in our community. Afterwards, come network and get to know some of your fellow local gators with brunch on us! Saturday, May 16th, at 8 a.m. at the corner of Glenwood Ave (Hwy 70) and Triangle Drive. Participants will pick up trash along a two mile stretch on Glenwood Ave (Hwy 70) in Raleigh, NC. This two mile stretch is between CarMax and The Angus Barn. Safety vests, gloves, and trash bags will be provided. We will begin the trash pick up at 8:00 a.m. and the pick up lasts about an hour and a half. P lan to meet in the parking area at the intersection of Glenwood Ave/Triangle Dr next to the Bicycle Chain. Minors aged 12 and older are welcome to participate , but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 21 years of age or older. For International Gator Day, we’re partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver for a half-day homesite build in the Denver area. This is a hands-on opportunity to support affordable housing while spending time with fellow Gators doing something that actually matters. What to Expect: You’ll be working on an active home build alongside Habitat staff and future homeowners. Tasks may include: Framing and exterior work Painting and finishing Site organization and cleanup General construction support No experience required—just show up ready to contribute. Habitat provides all tools, materials, and guidance. This means we will take a large batch of diapers and break them down into uniform packs for individual distribution. It is a very heartwarming project. This year we begin IGD in Manhattan at the KEEN basketball project on the Upper East Side. Volunteering at KEEN has been one of Gotham Gators' favorite volunteer projects. No experience is required. A brief orientation will lead you to a morning of smiles and fun for all ages. This will be the 8th year the Gotham Gators will participate in KEEN's program for International Gator Day! Please join us at KEEN for the UES Basketball Program for children and young adults with disabilities. This is a non-competitive sports program with special needs kids to help them discover just how much they can do! KEEN fosters the self-esteem, confidence, and talents of young people facing significant challenges, empowering them to meet their individual goals. KEEN New York's Manhattan Basketball is an indoor program for our athletes who wish to shoot some hoops, practice their ball-handling skills, and finesse their footwork all in a team setting. During the program, athletes and Gator volunteers come together for one-to-one activities. They have a group warm up, and then volunteer coaches help each athlete practice exercises and drills. The session ends with everyone coming together in a circle and sharing with the group what they did that day "that made them very Proud" (followed closely by a round of Hot Potato!).

    The Gotham Gator Club is excited to volunteer with KEEN(Kids Enjoy Exercise Now) for International Gator Day 2026 in New York City! We invite New York tri-state Gators to join Gator Clubs® and Affiliate Groups from around the world to volunteer in your local community together on Saturday, May 16th. This year we end IGD at the McCarren Rec Center in Williamsburg to participate in KEEN's Basketball Program for children and young adults with disabilities. KEEN fosters the self-esteem, confidence, and talents of young people facing significant challenges, empowering them to meet their individual goals. KEEN New York's Brooklyn Basketball is an indoor program for our athletes who wish to shoot some hoops, practice their ball-handling skills, and finesse their footwork all in a team setting.     International Gator Day is the annual community service day when Gators around the world unite to volunteer in their communities and make a difference doing Gator Good. For the 8th year in a row, we will proudly support the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Please drop off your non-perishable food donations between the hours of 2-5 pm on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Items will be collected on the outside porch area. Gator swag will be given to all donors! Also, this year, the OneBlood Bloodmobile will be onsite from 1-6 pm accepting blood donations. All blood donors will receive a $20 gift certificate and a car sun shade.

    It's our second event for International Gator Day: Bags of Hope - Cornelius. We'll be there packing bags for people in the Charlotte community. Give back if you're in the Charlotte area, Gator fans. This was a highly successful event last year, and we wanted to come back to Bags of Hope. Our goal is to pack about 200 bags of food for school distribution. We will surround a table, and each of us will have one item to put in the bag. Assembly line work.
