Bags of Hope - International Gator Day

Palm Beach County Gator Club® International Gator Day at Loggerhead Marinelife Center

Saturday, May 17, 2025, is International Gator Day, a day in which Gator Clubs® and Affiliate Groups around the world unite to utilize the size and spirit of the Gator Nation® to positively impact local communities. Gators will join together to support projects and programs within their local communities, using their time and talents to serve others. Join us at Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach again this year for a beach clean-up to save the turtles. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and water (preferably a reusable tumbler instead of plastic water bottles) and pick up a Gator IGD t-shirt and other swag at check-in!

On May 23rd at 7:04pm we will see the Charlotte Knights PLAY BALL at Truist Field. Come out for the game and stay for the fireworks, as we kick off the summer at the old ball field. It’s a Friday night with the Gators.

Gotham Gator Club - Earth Day 2026 - NYC Clean Volunteers

The Gotham Gator Club is excited to invite you to a community cleanup with NYC Clean Volunteers! All ages welcome! The Gotham Gator Club invites local Gator Fans ( Alumni and Non-Alumni family and friends ) to help keep NYC clean with NYC Clean Volunteers in honor of Earth Day! We will meet at Proof Coffee Roasters (335 E 27th Street) before heading out to the Bellevue So. Park and Hospital areas. The Gotham Gators will gather for an optional brunch following the project. Children's Hunger Project Food Packing

Wednesday, April 22, 5:30-7:30 pm 26 Forest Avenue, Cocoa, FL 32922 “Kids are also hungry on the weekends…but they don’t have to be.” This is why the Space Coast Gator Club is supporting the Children’s Hunger Project which is a 501c3 non-profit charity dedicated to eliminating the growing problem of weekend childhood hunger. We will assist them by packing the food to be given to the kids for the weekend so they don’t come to school hungry on Monday morning. Proper nutrition is the foundation for school success. Improved nutrition on the weekends enables at-risk children to be better prepared to participate in their education. If you can, please volunteer for this important project. 2026 Tampa Gator Club Golf Tournament

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, we will proudly host our annual Scholarship Golf Tournament at the scenic Westchase Golf Club , starting at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. This event supports funding of 15 scholarships for local Hillsborough and Pasco County students attending the University of Florida. Our Scholarship Golf Tournament represents one of the cornerstones of our philanthropic efforts, raising over $50,000 in scholarship funds. The success of this event hinges on the support of individuals and businesses like yours and we believe it presents a unique opportunity to align with our mission and gain valuable exposure within our community. The goal of our tournament is to accomplish two main objectives: Raise as many scholarship dollars as possible for our future Gator students Have a fun and memorable golfing experience A few things to know Registration Fee Covers: Green Fees, Range Balls, Golf Cart Fees, Breakfast and coffee, Lunch, drinks on the course, a Golfer Swag Bag, and the chance to win multiple prizes! Rocky Mountain Gator Club - ⛷️ Spring Ski Day & Beach Party

Don't miss our annual Rocky Mountain Gator Club Ski Day & Beach Party at Arapahoe Basin ! Our volunteers will get to the "beach" around 8:00-9:00 am for set-up, and this year we'll be in beach spot #3. The RMGC will provide food and non-alcoholic beverages; other drinks are BYOB. No need to RSVP for this event -- just show up. However, you will want to reserve your parking which is required by the resort this year. A general reservation can be made online in advance for $20 for the Early Riser, High Noon, Last Chance, and Upper Last Chance lots. PRO TIP: If you have four or more people in your car, you will still need a reservation but the reservation will be free.

Sac Community Event: SGC Night Out at the A's!

Sacramento Gator Club is excited to offer complimentary tickets to the A’s vs. KC Royals game on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 6:40 PM in West Sacramento. Tickets are limited and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis (limit 4 per group - If your family has more than 4 people, please let us know so we can accommodate your entire group). And what makes free tickets even better?…there are multiple UF Gator alumni on the KC Royals roster! Come out and show your Gator pride We’ll also have an optional happy hour from 5:00–6:30 PM —a casual chance to connect with fellow Gators before the game. Annual Spring Picnic

Our annual spring picnic will be at Lake Julian Park - Pavilion 6 from 2 - 5 pm on May 3rd. We will have catered food with drinks. Don't forget that the club cannot provide alcohol at the picnic but we do have an alcohol permit so you can bring your own. $17 per person 13 and over (payable at the picnic or by Venmo – blueridgegatorclub.com or 828-775-3850) ). Remember that all picnics are rain or shine and the club is paying the caterer by Saturday so please be there if you tell us you are coming.

Gator Gameday for Scholarships | Manatee County Gator Club

Each year, the Manatee County Gator Club is proud to offer scholarships to Manatee County students attending the University of Florida. These scholarships are made possible by support from our local alumni, family, and friends. This year, we will be hosting "Gator Gameday for Scholarships" on May 9th from 3:00-6:00pm at Inner Compass Brewing Company. Come out for an afternoon of fun games and awesome prizes alongside your fellow Gators to help us raise crucial funding for our scholarship program. All proceeds from the event will directly fund scholarships. Besides a small donation from each ticket purchased, you will also be able to buy tickets for our prize drawing and enter our 50/50 drawing as well. International Gator Day-Food for Souls

Join the Panhandle Gator Club’s International Gator Day service event on May 12 from 9 am till 11 am. It will be held at Hiland Park Baptist Church. We will be packing back packs for 600 children with food insecurities from local elementary schools. We will furnish a IGD T-shirt for volunteers. Space Coast Gator Club - Monthly Open Club Meeting

All members are invited and encouraged to join us on the second WEDNESDAY of each month for our Open Club Planning Meeting. If you'd like to get involved with the Space Coast Gator Club, this is the place! The meeting officially kicks off at 6:30 pm, but feel free to come early at 5:30 or 6:00 to order food, drinks, and to socialize before the meeting.

International Gator Day Trash Pick Up

International Gator Day of service is May 16th, so come do your gators good by helping us to pick up trash with family and friends to help make a difference in our community. Afterwards, come network and get to know some of your fellow local gators with brunch on us! Saturday, May 16th, at 8 a.m. at the corner of Glenwood Ave (Hwy 70) and Triangle Drive. Participants will pick up trash along a two mile stretch on Glenwood Ave (Hwy 70) in Raleigh, NC. This two mile stretch is between CarMax and The Angus Barn. Safety vests, gloves, and trash bags will be provided. We will begin the trash pick up at 8:00 a.m. and the pick up lasts about an hour and a half. P lan to meet in the parking area at the intersection of Glenwood Ave/Triangle Dr next to the Bicycle Chain. Minors aged 12 and older are welcome to participate , but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 21 years of age or older. St. Louis Gator Club International Gator Day Service Event

On Saturday, May 16 , Gator Clubs® across the globe will unite for International Gator Day—a day dedicated to using the size and spirit of the Gator Nation® to serve our local communities. This year, the Gateway Gator Club is proud to support the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) St. Louis . We’ll be on-site to help with registration, staff snack and water stations, and provide general event support. Want to be on wheels? Bring your bike! We need volunteers to check on route marshals and refill water stations for both human and four-legged participants. Rocky Mountain Gator Club - International Gator Day 2026 with Habitat for Humanity Build

Service. Community. Impact. Join your fellow University of Florida Alumni for a day of service in the community we all call home. For International Gator Day, we’re partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver for a half-day homesite build in the Denver area. This is a hands-on opportunity to support affordable housing while spending time with fellow Gators doing something that actually matters. What to Expect: You’ll be working on an active home build alongside Habitat staff and future homeowners. Tasks may include: Framing and exterior work Painting and finishing Site organization and cleanup General construction support No experience required—just show up ready to contribute. Habitat provides all tools, materials, and guidance. International Gator Day - NC Diaper Bank

It's our first event for International Gator Day: NC Diaper Bank. It is May 16th, 10 am to 12 pm. We're gonna have lunch afterwards. We will have a diaper packaging event at the Charlotte Diaper Bank in Uptown Charlotte. This means we will take a large batch of diapers and break them down into uniform packs for individual distribution. It is a very heartwarming project. Give back if you're in the Charlotte area, Gator fans. This was a highly successful event last year, and we wanted to return to the NC Diaper Bank.

Gotham Gator Club - International Gator Day UES: KEEN Basketball Volunteer Project

The Gotham Gator Club is excited to volunteer with KEEN(Kids Enjoy Exercise Now) for International Gator Day 2026 in New York City ! We invite New York tri-state Gators to join Gator Clubs® and Affiliate Groups from around the world to volunteer in your local community together on Saturday, May 16th! This year we begin IGD in Manhattan at the KEEN basketball project on the Upper East Side. Volunteering at KEEN has been one of Gotham Gators' favorite volunteer projects. No experience is required. A brief orientation will lead you to a morning of smiles and fun for all ages. This will be the 8th year the Gotham Gators will participate in KEEN's program for International Gator Day! Please join us at KEEN for the UES Basketball Program for children and young adults with disabilities. This is a non-competitive sports program with special needs kids to help them discover just how much they can do! KEEN fosters the self-esteem, confidence, and talents of young people facing significant challenges, empowering them to meet their individual goals. KEEN New York's Manhattan Basketball is an indoor program for our athletes who wish to shoot some hoops, practice their ball-handling skills, and finesse their footwork all in a team setting. During the program, athletes and Gator volunteers come together for one-to-one activities. They have a group warm up, and then volunteer coaches help each athlete practice exercises and drills. The session ends with everyone coming together in a circle and sharing with the group what they did that day "that made them very Proud" (followed closely by a round of Hot Potato!).

International Gator Day

International Gator Day is the annual community service day when Gators around the world unite to volunteer in their communities and make a difference doing Gator Good. For the 8th year in a row, we will proudly support the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Please drop off your non-perishable food donations between the hours of 2-5 pm on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Items will be collected on the outside porch area. Gator swag will be given to all donors! Also, this year, the OneBlood Bloodmobile will be onsite from 1-6 pm accepting blood donations. All blood donors will receive a $20 gift certificate and a car sun shade.

International Gator Day - Bags of Hope packing event

It's our second event for International Gator Day: Bags of Hope - Cornelius. We'll be there packing bags for people in the Charlotte community. Give back if you're in the Charlotte area, Gator fans. This was a highly successful event last year, and we wanted to come back to Bags of Hope. Our goal is to pack about 200 bags of food for school distribution. We will surround a table, and each of us will have one item to put in the bag. Assembly line work. We'll be there from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on May 20th. We're working on an event afterwards. Come on out! Go Gators!
