  • 2025 Panhandle Gator Club Events

The following are some of the events we have planned for 2025.
On Jan 16, we are hosting along with the Bay County Audubon Society, the City of Panama City, and Gulf Coast State College a Conservation Film, titled Purple Haze.  This enlightening film delves into the fascinating lives of Eastern Purple Martins, migratory birds that rely on human-provided nesting cavities for survival.  The film will be presented by Zach Steinhauser, a former Gator alumnus. The screening will be held in the Gulf Coast State College, Sarzin Lecture Hall, at 6:00 PM.
On Feb 28 and Mar 1, Join us at the 31st Annual Scottish Festival in Panama City Beach. Festival grounds will be at Frank Brown Park.  The festival hours are Feb 28, 3 pm - 8 pm and Mar 1, 9 am - 6 pm.  It is the largest and longest-running Scottish festival in Florida’s Panhandle, featuring top tier entertainment, Highland games, piping, artisan vendors, children activities, delicious food and so much more.   Your Panhandle Gator Club (PGC) will have a booth at the festival to meet and greet you as well as provide free Gator swag items to all Gator fans.  The PGC board members will be there to answer any questions you may have about the club and tell you about the Gator gatherings we have planned for the year.
In March, your club will be enjoying food and wine at the Duplin Winery (date and time TBA).  Enjoy wine tastings, live music, cheesecake and more with fellow Gators at Duplin Winery's largest location.
In April, enjoy the awe-inspiring beauty of Panama City Beach aboard the Island Time catamaran (date and time TBA). This 2 hour tour is perfect for couples or families aboard a 50-foot-long sailing cruise catamaran.
In May, we will be speeding across the grasslands of West Bay aboard the Wild Thang Airboat (date and time TBA).  This event is next to the Boon Docks restaurant about 3 miles north of Panama City Beach.
In June, we plan a night of bowling for the whole family. It will be held at Rock'It Lanes (date and time TBA). Not only is bowling available but also arcade games and roller skating as well as a sports bar.
In July or August, we will host a summer picnic and rally at Papa Joe's Bayside (date and time TBA).  The Panhandle Gator Club will provide a meal and beverage for Gator fans attending.  Papa Joes is providing entertainment.
In September, aboard the Sea Screamer for a Dolphin Tour. This spacious yet comfortable twin turbo powered 73' passenger sightseeing boat offers a smooth yet thrilling ride unlike any other!
In October, participate for free (first 18 teams) at our annual fund-raising Miniature Golf tournament. It will be held at Pirate's Island Adventure Golf.
In November, enjoy a relaxing sunset with a beach bonfire on Panama City Beach (date and time TBA).  You can purchase food and beverages for this event at Schooners restaurant.
