International Gator Day

International Gator Day (IGD), a date chosen by the UF Alumni Association each May, is a day when Gators everywhere are encouraged to volunteer for a charitable or community service project of their own choosing in their local area.  Organizations the Columbia Gator Club has worked with in the past include Harvest Hope Food Bank, Riverbanks Zoo, Saluda Shoals Park, and Epworth Children's Home.

This year, our chapter chose Pets, Inc, a local no-kill shelter for a beautification project.  We had over 20 members help with landscaping, bathing the animals, cleaning up the kitten room and walking dogs.  Stay tuned for information on International Gator Day 2016!
