“Welcome to the Gatorhood” event presents an opportunity to greet all Gators in the area, recent graduates, young Alumni and new residents to “Gatorhood” to build social and professional networks.

The event is open to All UF Alumni-Gators in the area to celebrate and welcome all, and is a great opportunity for Young Alumni
So join us to grow your Gator Network on Thursday August 21st at Bank Street Patio Bar, from 7 to 9 pm. The Marion County Gator Club will supply appetizers. You may purchase beverages of choice.
We hope to have a great attendance and the opportunity to welcome new and current members of Marion County Gator Club.

Tour UF Veterinary Hospital at World Equestrian Center

Join us for a free tour of UF's one-of-a-kind Veterinary Hospital in Ocala, offering state of the art care for large and small animals.

The tour is free and begins promptly at 11 am (arrive early). After the tour, we will drive to the Equestrian Hotel for lunch at the Yellow Pony (order off the menu at your own expense).

Open MCGC Board Meeting, come one, come all

Calling all Marion County area Gators.

You are invited to join us for our May board meeting to be held on Thursday, May 8 at 7 PM at Gators Dockside in Ocala.

We are looking for our Marion County young alumni to be involved by adding a Young Alumni Coordinator to our Marion County Gator Board. This position will coordinate young alumni networking and fun activities. Young Alumni is our future both with the UFAA and Gator Clubs Nationwide. We also have other positions available, so please, Come and Join Us!

Toast to the Class!

As the University of Florida is about to cross the 500,000 living alumni milestone, we are excited to invite you to a new program,Toast to the Class. On Wednesday, April 30th, we will raise a glass and cheers to the Class of 2025.

This event will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the graduating class, reconnect with fellow alumni, and share your invaluable experiences with the next generation of graduates. We hope you'll join us for a chance to say “Cheers and Go Gators”.

Keep Alachua County beautiful!

Marion County Gators,

Titletown Gator Club has partnered with Keep Alachua County Beautiful, and adopted a mile of SW 24th Avenue, from the intersection of Tower Road (SW 75th Street) east to Split Rock Conservation Area.

Marion County Gators would like to help with this community service project. Please join us on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 10 a.m. to conduct a roadside pickup and contribute to keeping Alachua county beautiful!  We will meet in the CVS parking lot at the northeast corner of the intersection of SW 24th Avenue and Tower Road / SW 75th Street (at 2303 S.W. 75th Street in Gainesville).  Material and equipment will be provided.  Bring your own sunscreen and hydration!

This operation usually takes about 2 hours to complete. If you would like, we can convene at nearby Tipple's for refreshments when our work is done!
