22 years as an international educator, I have taught English as a Foreign Language (EFL) at a variety of institutions, ranging from kindergarten to university in both Thailand and Japan. Since 2004, I have been teaching EFL, EAP, ESP and Management at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Mahidol University, the number one ranked university in Thailand. I have also taught in Intensive English programs at top ranked high schools in Bangkok, Thailand and Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.
Education Management complements my teaching experience, currently serving as the Student Activity Programs Leader and having served two non-consecutive terms as the English Department Team Leader.
Additionally, I am passionate about Alumni Relations, having volunteered in numerous alumni-related positions for Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, with a special focus on networking with alumni outside of the United States and on mentoring students on how best to leverage their alumni relations. I have transferred this passion by promoting and celebrating the successes of the alumni of the Faculty of ICT.
I would like to continue my career in education management. Although I would like to remain in the classroom, I would also like to take on more managerial and decision making responsibilities, particularly in the areas of student services, recruitment, alumni relations, and international relations.
My career in education is further complemented by experience in retail, customer service, operations, hospitality, telecommunications, and corporate training.
