Applicant FAQs

1. What is the time commitment like?
New Members are required to attend a one-hour training per week in addition to Weekly General Body Meetings (GBMs).

New Members, in their first semester, are expected to complete 10 credits in addition to the weekly training and meeting.

2. What's required for the application?
The application will consist of a written portion which includes a resume component as well as a creative writing assignment. All applicants will schedule their group interview following the submission of their written applications. Following group interviews, a select number of applicants will be invited to participate in individual interviews.

Applicants must have a current Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow membership which has an associated fee. If you are not selected your membership will not be refunded. The organization will work with applicants with limited financial resources.

3. When will applications become available?
Applications will become available in early 2026.

4. How can I learn more about Florida Cicerones and their role at UF?
Refer to our website for more information about our programming and how we serve our University partners.
