The Association of Asian Alumni (AAA) is a part of, and receives support from, the UFAA. Membership is a way to reconnect, maintain contact with friends old and new, learn from your peers, and create a mentoring relationship. The AAA facilitates alumni connections with current students and help you connect back with your university and stay engaged with what’s happening within the APIA community at the University of Florida and beyond.

Association of Black Alumni

The Association of Black Alumni (ABA) is operated primarily for educational and charitable purposes in support of the University of Florida, as set forth in the Association’s Charter. ABA assists with the recruitment and retention of Black students through the Office of Admission’s Destination Gainesville programs, provides mentoring opportunities to current students and alumni and promotes the efforts of the Institute of Black Culture and several other campus student groups and UF programs. ABA also supports fundraising initiatives through scholarships.

The Association of Hispanic Alumni (AHA) is an alumni group of Gators who are Hispanic or have a Hispanic/Latin cultural background. The goal of the AHA is to promote the University of Florida and assist current UF students to continue developing their commitment to UF as well as their pride in the Hispanic Culture. The AHA has, and is currently sponsoring fundraising events to gather funds for scholarships for students in UF, as well as awarding an annual “Gran Caiman” award that highlights a Hispanic Gator who has represented UF in a very positive and successful manner.

The University of Florida Association of LGBTQ+ Alumni is an affiliate of the University of Florida Alumni Association (UFAA) and is dedicated to supporting and connecting UF’s alumni and students, who may identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and beyond (LGBTQ+), and their allies.
