Association of Black Alumni

The Association of Black Alumni (ABA) is operated primarily for educational and charitable purposes in support of the University of Florida, as set forth in the Association’s Charter. ABA assists with the recruitment and retention of Black students through the Office of Admission’s Destination Gainesville programs, provides mentoring opportunities to current students and alumni and promotes the efforts of the Institute of Black Culture and several other campus student groups and UF programs. ABA also supports fundraising initiatives through scholarships.

The Association of Hispanic Alumni (AHA) is an alumni group of Gators who are Hispanic or have a Hispanic/Latin cultural background. The goal of the AHA is to promote the University of Florida and assist current UF students to continue developing their commitment to UF as well as their pride in the Hispanic Culture. The AHA has, and is currently sponsoring fundraising events to gather funds for scholarships for students in UF, as well as awarding an annual “Gran Caiman” award that highlights a Hispanic Gator who has represented UF in a very positive and successful manner.

The Florida Blue Key Alumni Association (FBKAA) is dedicated to the ongoing mission of leadership and public service to Florida Blue Key, the University of Florida, and the Sunshine State. The FBKAA seeks to engage alumni in the different regions of Florida to enhance the organization, UF Homecoming and Gator Growl, and work towards advancing the efforts of the University of Florida towards national preeminence.

Through doing so, the LGBT & Allied Alumni Association will help foster a strong commitment to cultivating resources, mentorship, support, and community for all LGBT and Allied Gators.

The Muslim Alumni Association (MAA) seeks to ensure that Muslim alumni from UF sustain a proactive connection to current Muslim students, other Muslim alumni, and the University of Florida community at large. The MAA aims to cultivate a platform to reach and engage all University of Florida Muslim alumni and students in order to provide resources, support, mentorship, and a strong sense of community.

The Jewish Alumni Association’s goal is to meet the needs of Jewish alumni. The JAA strives to connect current students with Jewish alumni. JAA offers you the opportunity for professional networking, member events, leadership opportunities, direct communication with the University, a link to fellow class members and a way to outwardly express your Gator pride.

The Association of Asian Alumni (AAA) is a part of, and receives support from, the UFAA. Membership is a way to reconnect, maintain contact with friends old and new, learn from your peers, and create a mentoring relationship. The AAA facilitates alumni connections with current students and help you connect back with your university and stay engaged with what’s happening within the APIA community at the University of Florida and beyond.

The Gator Band Alumni Association (GBAA) is dedicated to the ongoing improvement and strengthening of the Gator Band. The GBAA seeks to engage band alumni & friends to create and maintain a strong bond between band alumni and the University of Florida. The GBAA recognizes the value of the Gator Band experience and provides support for the program’s success.
