Bryan Ruiz, BSADV '06, currently serves as a Global Media Executive at Google. Based outside of New York City, Bryan has worked at Google for over 10 years. At his time at Google, Bryan has worked with companies of all sizes to help bring them strategies to grow their business. He now leads a global sales enablement team for global media incentives. Prior to Google, Bryan worked for The Walt Disney Company and Sony Pictures Entertainment to help drive nationwide partnerships and sales against media solutions.


For the past 7+ years, Bryan has been an adjunct professor at the University of Florida. He teaches both graduate and undergraduate students at the UF College of Journalism and Communications. His coursework is focused on digital media and sales and has taught the following course: Performance Marketing, Cross Media Sales, Digital Sales. Bryan also teaching masters courses for the Rutgers Business School as well. 


In addition to his UF degree, Bryan holds a Masters of Arts in Communication Management from the University of Southern California (2007). He has also obtained a diploma in Corporate Finance and Reporting from the London School of Business and Finance (2017) as well as certifications in Google Search, Google Video and Google Analytics.


Bryan has been heavily involved with the University of Florida since he was a student. As a student, he served as a cabinet member in Student Government, member of Pi Lambda Phi, Ambassador in the College of Journalism and Communications as well as a teaching assistant in the Advertising program. Since graduating, Bryan has been involved with the Gotham Gators Club® serving as the Vice President of Technology and most recently Vice President for the UFAA’s Association of LGBTQ+ Alumni affiliate group for the past 4 years since re-launching the affiliate group.


Outside of his professional work, Bryan resides in Maplewood, NJ with his husband Adam and his two biological children, Kenzie and Oliver via a surrogate and their French bulldog, Piper. He loves to take his family to the beach, go on hikes, teach his kids about his Cuban culture and go on as many trips as he can to show them the world. Bryan will be serving his third term on the UFAA Board of Directors; his term expires 6/30/2026.
