The Gator Wrap Tradition
The inaugural University of Florida Ring Dance hosted by the Class Councils and Student Activities and Involvement will take place at the Harn Museum of Art on Friday, April 21st from 6-8pm.
The tradition-rich event will celebrate the Junior and Senior Classes as they transition into their time as a Senior or Graduate of the university. Bringing back iconic traditions from dances throughout the university’s history, this exciting event will feature highlights from the Class of 2024 and 2023, the presentation and distribution of the Class Ring hosted by Herff Jones, as well as food, dancing and fun!
Prior to the Ring Dance, the class rings will be placed in Century Tower overnight. When the ring emerges the next morning, it will be infused with the spirit of the Gator Nation and the passion of past alumni.
Students who purchase their ring at Ring Week or Grad Fair can pick up their ring at the Ring Dance. Additionally, Herff Jones will be onsite at the event with rings for students to see and order. The deadline to purchase a class ring in order to receive their ring at Ring Dance is February 22nd, 2023. The UF Bookstore will be hosting two events in order to allow students to learn about and receive discounts on the Gator Wrap Ring and other graduation regalia.
