Carr Scott

Carr Scott, BS ’96 and MBA ’03 (GSU), is an entrepreneur in Atlanta, GA. Carr recently started Los Linderos Tequila with an initial launch in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Ohio and will add 7 more states in 2026. The brand is focused on artisanal, additive free tequilas that are cooked, distilled, and aged in Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico. Prior to tequila, Carr started The Poseidon Group and Urgent Care Works, healthcare informatics companies that focused on web-based automation of emergency departments and urgent care centers. One of his greatest achievements was the implementation at Shands @ UF in 2004.

Carr lives in Marietta, GA with his wife Ashley, his sons: Abram (17) and Ethan (16), and dogs Charli and Whiskey. He is proud to have raised 2 Gators in the heart of dawg country. In his free time, he enjoys golf, pickleball and the hunt of rare and limited released whiskeys. He is serving a one-year term as a Presidential Appointee; his term expires 6/30/2026.
