George Kramer

George M. Kramer, BA ’99, MAURP ’07, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Inspire Placemaking Collective, Inc., an award-winning planning and design consulting firm with offices in Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Atlanta, Durham, North Carolina, and Boston.

George is an American Institute of Certified Planners certified planner and an active member of the American Planning Association and the Florida Redevelopment Association. From 2014 to 2021, he served on the Executive Board of the Urban Land Institute Central Florida.

George has served as a member of the University of Florida Department of Urban and Regional Planning Advisory Board since 2021. From 2011 to 2013, he served as the Capital Campaign Chair for Theta Chi Fraternity and led an alumni committee that raised more than $2 million for the construction of a new chapter house. In addition to fundraising, George served as the owner’s representative, overseeing the design and construction of Tau Chapter’s state-of-the-art student housing facility, which was completed in 2013.

While at the University of Florida, George served as Student Senate President, Student Body Treasurer, and Student Body President. In recognition of his achievements, he was selected for membership in the University of Florida Hall of Fame and Florida Blue Key.

Most recently, George received the University of Florida Distinguished Planning Alumnus of the Year Award and was invited to serve on the UFAA Corporate Engagement Workgroup.

George lives in Orlando with his wife, Anjali, and their two children, Lily and Malcolm. He is serving his first term, which will expire 6/30/2028.
