Kim L. Beach

Kim Lyons Beach, BSBA ’93, MBA ’97, is an Associate Director for Business Career Services in the Warrington College of Business. In this role, she is the career coach for students in the Professional MBA and Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) programs. Previously, she worked in consulting with Deloitte in Atlanta and launched the first Florida office for a new division of Deloitte called Resources Connection, which connected executives with strategic projects in corporations. She also spent time as a consultant with a regional firm headquartered in southwest Florida. Kim recently spent ten years in Houston, TX where she held leadership roles for several non-profit organizations and performed some independent consulting.
While at UF, Kim served on the Preview staff and management team, and she was appointed Preview staff director her last year. She also held a number of leadership roles in Zeta Tau Alpha and she served on the Reitz Union Board of Managers. Kim was inducted into the UF Hall of Fame and was honored as the Outstanding Female Leader in the 1993 graduating class. She is a double Gator, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and returning after working for a few years for her MBA.
Kim has always been active in her community. She is a past president of the Junior League of Gainesville and co-founded a local Gainesville non-profit organization, Kids Count in Alachua County, which is an after-school program for at-risk elementary school students in east Gainesville.
Kim lives in Gainesville with her husband, Brian (BSBA ’90, MBA ’95) and dog, Lido. Her three sons are all Gators – one a junior engineering student and two freshman business students. She will be serving her second term on the UFAA Board of Directors; her term expires 6/30/2026.
