Matthew M. Bravo is an undergraduate history major from Jacksonville, Florida, and currently serves as the Student Body President of the University of Florida. Prior to his current role, Matthew served in Student Government for three years, holding several leadership positions including Senate President Pro Tempore, Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, Freshman Class President, and Vice President for both his sophomore and junior classes.

Beyond Student Government, Matthew is involved on campus as a member of Florida Blue Key, the Florida Cicerones, the 2024 Preview Staff, and the Delta Chi Fraternity.

Alongside his continued involvement at the University of Florida, Matthew finds purpose in supporting others facing battles similar to his own. As a former Hodgkin’s lymphoma patient, he dedicates his community efforts to fundraising for blood cancer research and supporting fellow patients.

Matthew remains committed to building a strong and fair University of Florida for all students. His term as Student Body President runs from April 22, 2026, through April 22, 2027.
