Kenny is the Head of Philanthropy for the Chordoma Foundation, a global cancer research foundation dedicated to curing chordoma, a rare and often aggressive type of cancer. In this role Kenny is responsible for ensuring adequate funding for all global initiatives—from early stage research through clinical trials and beyond. With more than 13 years of leadership in the nonprofit sector Kenny’s expertise includes strategic planning, fundraising, organizational management, board development and external relations/communications.

Kenny earned his undergraduate and two graduate degrees, one in political science and one in nonprofit management, from the University of Florida. While at UF Kenny was tapped into Florida Blue Key and inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame. Prior to his current role Kenny held leadership roles at the University of Florida Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and ChildNet (one of Florida’s largest nonprofit organizations).

Outside of his professional responsibilities Kenny has served, and continues to serve, his community in a multitude of ways including as President of the Deerfield Beach Kiwanis Club, President of Relay for Life, President of the Chi Phi Alumni Association and as a board member of Partnership for Strong Families Alachua County. Kenny is proud to have been named a Sun-Sentinel Newspaper Top Workplace Professional and a South Florida Business and Wealth Magazine “Up and Comer” award finalist.
Kenny is also a graduate of the American Express Nonprofit Leadership Development program.
