Sarah Criser Elwell serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches, Florida's largest nonpartisan political and public affairs organization. In this capacity, she plans, recruits for, and presents monthly events with national leaders whose words and actions impact lives all around the world. She is responsible for the exchange of friendly discourse among the organization's membership of nearly 800 South Florida business, political, and community leaders, and fosters future engagement and civic learning among students throughout Palm Beach County.


A graduate of Leadership Florida, Elwell serves as Statewide Events and Experiences Chair. She also serves on the Executive Committee for CouTOURe Club, a volunteer organization of women dedicated to increasing awareness of The Classic in the Palm Beaches (formerly The Honda Classic) and its mission to raise funds for children’s charities. She serves on the Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County Moments Committee, the Palm Beach County Community Remembrance Project’s Education Committee and is an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity Greater Palm Beach County. This year, she was also selected as one of only five mentors for the American Enterprise Institute Civic Renewal Fellowship Program that guides community leaders across the country in the development of projects that promote civil discourse.


Elwell previously worked for Moore Agency handling brand identity, publicity, media training, and event planning. She also served as Communications Director for two Members of Congress and Deputy Press Secretary for Florida’s Commissioner of Agriculture. Elwell earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida, where she was active in Florida Cicerones and Florida Blue Key. She holds a master’s degree in Applied American Politics and Policy from Florida State University. She and her husband Kevin live in Palm Beach Gardens with their two daughters.
