As a nurse practitioner and certified midwife, Kaitlyn empowers her patients to actively participate in their journey through womanhood, from adolescence to pregnancy to menopause. Through discussion, education and use of the body's natural physiology, she strives to promote a safe and healthy lifestyle for women in both body and mind. She believes women know their own bodies better than anyone, and she understands the importance of listening to patients’ every concern.

Kaitlyn is a dedicated advocate for safe-sex education and birth control for teens and young women. Her work with pregnant women centers on promoting a safe and positive birth experience. She teaches childbirth classes monthly and is currently doing deliveries at Winnie Palmer Hospital, in Orlando.

Kaitlyn also takes a special interest in sexual medicine for women across the lifespan, regardless of age or sexual orientation. She believes in providing transparency of information in all treatment options and respecting a woman's right for an enriched quality of life.

A native of Florida, Kaitlyn earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at UF, along with a certificate in midwifery. She has worked in obstetrics units of top hospitals in Argentina and those of UF Health Shands and Shands Jacksonville. She is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives, the Society for Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health and the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health.
