Auriel Rolle-Polk

Auriel Rolle-Polk is a passionate policy & systems change-maker, social justice, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) professional with nearly 10 years of experience designing, implementing, and leading policy and programs with targeted equity objectives. She possesses a career history with increasing levels of responsibility in education, law, and advocacy for under-resourced and marginalized communities.


Auriel is an effective communicator who has had the opportunity to interface with and recruit executive-level stakeholders across public and private sectors to support inclusive policy and programs through high-impact partnerships.


As Code for America’s Associate Director for the Opportunity Accelerator Auriel leads a team in a placed-based initiative that supports local governments in promoting economic mobility, reducing racial disparities, and improving the well-being of their residents. She fundamentally believes government could and should work better for everyone - especially those intentionally and unintentionally harmed by government systems for centuries. Leveraging her experience as an educator, lawyer, advocate, and community organizer, Auriel works with numerous communities across the country to radically imagine and create the realities and futures they hope to be true for themselves and their families.
