Called the father of the discipline of ecological economics by the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, Robert Costanza continuously makes strides to research sustainability and well-being.
Costanza is author or co-author of over 500 scientific papers and over 20 books. He’s been cited in more than 10,000 scientific articles, putting him on ISI’s highly cited researchers list since 2004. Along with being editor in chief of Solutions, a hybrid academic journal, he serves on the editorial board for 10 other international academic journals. He was co-founder and past president of the International Society of Ecological Economics.
He is currently chair of public policy at the Crawford School of Public Policy. He is also a senior fellow at the National Council on Science and the Environment, a senior fellow at the Stockholm Resilience Center and an affiliate fellow at the Gund Institute for Ecological Economics. Not only is he a master of ecological economics at the De Tao Academy in China, but he is also co-founder of the De Tau Institute of Green Investing.
