Samantha Hockenberry, BSISE '12, is the President of The Pryor Family Foundation and active entrepreneur within Industrial AI while living in Scottsdale, AZ. The Pryor Family Foundation envisions a future where every child and family in early childhood education receives the support to thrive, where no child is left behind. Previously, Samantha was the Director of Sub-Same Day Network for Amazon where she led 26,000 Amazon Associates and 1,500 Operations Managers throughout North America. The operation network delivered over millions of same day units across +60 buildings in North America. Alongside her operational leadership, Sam has been a highly visible leader incorporating DEI as a way of doing business and engraining this into the culture of Amazon overall.

In 2017, Samantha took on the audacious initiative of launching Amazon’s Central Operations in Orlando, where she designed a business that fostered associate culture and operational excellence. Having driven success in Orlando, she moved to Phoenix as a Senior Ops Manager to consolidate Central Operations into a single location. She has elevated Amazon’s Central Operation’s capabilities by adding numerous key pillars and has led Global Specialty Fulfillment through multiple large-scale events during the COVID-19 pandemic.

She was incredibly involved in her time as an undergraduate, serving as Gator Growl Executive Producer, President of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, a Student Government Senator and a member of UF’s 2013 Hall of Fame class.

In her spare time, Sam is either rooting on the Florida Gators, skiing in the Rockies, going on an adventure with her dog Brodie or traveling near and far to immerse herself in various cultures. She currently lives in Scottsdale, AZ and will be serving her second term on the UFAA Board of Directors; her term expires 6/30/2026.
