Stephen A. Liverpool was raised in Tampa, Florida. He attended the University of Florida where he earned his B.A. in 2007 and J.D. in 2010. During his tenure at UF he had the honor of serving as the President of Florida Blue Key and the Gamma Omicron Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. As an acknowledgement of his commitment to the UF community, Stephen was inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame; the highest recognition given to student leaders at UF.

After graduating from UF, Stephen returned to Tampa where he practiced law with the firm of Hill, Ward & Henderson representing clients in all phases of commercial real estate development and a wide variety of government relations and land use matters. In 2015, Stephen joined Raymond James Financial, Inc. (NYSE:RJF), one of the region’s largest public companies with a market cap exceeding $12 billion; driven by over 8000 financial advisors serving over 3 million client accounts holding approximately $930 billion in assets.  In 2016, Stephen was announced as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Raymond James Bank. He now specializes in managing the Bank’s overall legal and transactional affairs, including strategic advice on regulatory, compliance and governance matters. For his professional efforts, Stephen has been recognized as both “40 Under 40” and “Top Corporate Counsel” by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. Outside of the office, Stephen serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Bankers Association and the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. He enjoys attending art museums with his wife Misha and is an avid angler who enjoys sport fishing all over the State of Florida.
