Dr. Patricia Louzon received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida (UF) College of Pharmacy in 2007. She completed PGY1 and PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residencies at Orlando Health. Dr. Louzon joined AdventHealth Orlando in 2009 as a Critical Care Specialist in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU). She is currently Clinical Manager of Critical Care and the Emergency Department where she is leading COVID-19 ICU response efforts.

Dr. Louzon is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UF College of Pharmacy where she has provided lectures and facilitated an elective course in Critical Care. She precepts students and has been named a Preceptor of the Year. Dr. Louzon serves as a committee chair for the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) where she has received Presidential Citations for her contributions in various roles since 2009. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Society of Health-System pharmacists and held many Central Florida leadership positions. Dr. Louzon has also made sustained community contributions as Board member and Vice President of a childhood cancer foundation, Apple a Day Foundation.

Dr. Louzon has authored over 30 research articles and abstracts in peer-reviewed journals. She was recognized with a national American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Best Practice Award in 2015 for implementing a novel pharmacist sedation management practice. Dr. Louzon was awarded Fellowship in the American College of Critical Care Medicine in 2020 for demonstrating significant contributions in the critical care profession at regional, state, and national levels.
