Born in Lebanon, Pascale grew up in an environment where career and education opportunities were limited for women. Determined to write a different ending for her story, she traveled to France where she received a master’s degree in chemical engineering. As a child, Pascale dreamed of living in the United States and earning her Ph.D. In 2008, this dream began to materialize when she moved to the U.S to attend the University of Florida Graduate Program. After receiving her doctorate in chemistry, Pascale began working for Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem) in 2014 as a polymer scientist. She now serves as the Product and Social Sustainability Manager in the Sustainability organization. In this position, she employs her diverse skillset to contribute to important sustainability initiatives, as well as utilizing science to cultivate lasting and positive impacts within her career and beyond. Her focus area includes integrating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals within the business, evaluating societal impact and value of the product we make and stirring CPChem's social responsibility strategy. Her diverse background and passion for DEI allowed her to contribute in various capacity to CPChem’s DEI efforts. Like many others, Pascale’s personal experience has not been without hurdles. Through her journey surpassing limitations tied to her culture, Pascale uncovered a passion for helping others by passing on the tools she has acquired along the way. Pascale is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the World Coaching Institute and uses her experience in conjunction to her certification to support and mentor women and young girls in STEM.
