She is also actively involved in community outreach initiatives including involvement in educational programs raising awareness about breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. She volunteers with Girls Inc, a nonprofit organization aimed at supporting girls in STEM. Dr. Armaghani also created the first every photography exhibit at Moffitt titled Portraits of Hope, which highlights the strength, courage and resilience of breast cancer patients.
