Raleigh “Billy” Greene is an attorney and native Floridian. He and his wife, Megan, both attended the University of Florida (undergraduate and law school). They now live in St. Petersburg with their two children, Raleigh & Marlowe. Mr. Greene is a the managing partner within Greene & Greene, along with Megan and his father, Raleigh “Lee” Greene. Mr. Greene’s practice focuses on family law (both litigation and collaborative divorce), trust & estate litigation and fiduciary litigation. Mr. Greene has been recognized as an AV rated lawyer by Martindale Hubbell and has been designated by both Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers. In 2017, Mr. Greene was awarded the Canakaris Family Law Inn of Court “Young Lawyer of the Year” award and was bestowed the Distinguished Citizen Award by Boy Scouts of America for his community and philanthropic contributions. In 2022, Mr. Greene was awarded the John C. Lenderman Award for Excellence in Family Law, the premier recognition provided by the Canakaris Inn of Court to attorneys practicing within the family law arena.
Mr. Greene currently serves as the Chair for the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg, wherein he has spearheaded a historic joint development project with the School Board to build a health and wellness facility in conjunction with a new magnet middle school, announced the redevelopment of their principal location to incorporate affordable housing, and announced the expansion of their preschool academies. Mr. Greene has served on the St. Peter Bar’s Executive Board, along with previously chairing the local Florida Bar’s Grievance Committee. Mr. Greene also remains active within the community, wherein he maintains several civic, charitable and social associations with numerous community organizations, including the St. Pete, Clearwater and Hillsborough Bar Associations, the Canakaris and Penick Inns of Court, the YMCA, the St. Pete Chamber of Commerce, All Children’s Hospital, and the University of Florida Alumni Association.
