Jennifer's clinical interests and expertise revolve around the clinical care of patients with eating disorders, general child and adolescent psychiatry and medical education. She has been actively involved in clinical work, providing treatment for patients afflicted with a wide variety of psychiatric conditions ranging from affective to psychotic and eating disorders. She receives referrals from colleagues locally, regionally, and nationally. She was recognized by Baltimore Magazine as a “Top Doctor” for the clinical care of pediatric patients with eating disorders for herwork with this population at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Since transitioning back to the Boston area and joining the faculty at Harvard Medical School and McLean Hospital she has had the privilege of working across several units including helping to open a new child and adolescent unit in an underserved area of the state. More recently she has been working across the Mass General Brigham system to identify areas of eating disorder service gaps in an effort to better serve the mental health needs of this patient population.

She has been actively involved in the teaching and supervision of medical students, residents and fellows since she was in residency and has continued this work since becoming an early-career faculty member. It is a privilege to engage with learners across the spectrum of training, to learn from and grow with them, and to share her love of psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry and eating disorder care with them in a way that honors their specific learning goals and objectives. She has been privileged to be a part of several incredible hospital and academic medical centers over the course of hertraining and career—she has worked hard to thread those things that are important to her throughout her work—endeavoring to provide excellent clinical care, administrative oversight and teaching in herarea of clinical expertise.
