Amanda joined Taylor English in 2010 when the firm was 5-years-old and the intellectual property group consisted of four attorneys. Her leadership was instrumental in growing the practice group to 25 lawyers and securing its recognition as one of the most prestigious intellectual property practices in the country. Now with 170 attorneys, she has been instrumental in creating numerous programs within the firm, including its associate program
Amanda was promoted to shareholder in 2015 and has been recognized as one of the best trademark attorneys in the country by Chambers, Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, World Trademark Review and Martindale. She was recognized in 2016 as one of the Top 25 attorneys under 40 in Georgia. She handles a significant portion of the firm’s largest IP litigation matters and high-profile clients, and holds leadership roles in several professional organizations, including the International Trademark Association. Amanda focuses a significant portion of her practice to pro bono work and has provided hundreds of hours this year to animal- and child-welfare organizations and scam victims.
Her passion for her community extends to her work as an executive board member for Kate’s Club, which provides services to children who have lost an immediate family member. After losing her father as a teenager, Amanda is passionate about the organization’s impact on children and chairs its fundraising committee.
