Fei heads the data science and engineering division at Dropbox, leading the data analytics and machine learning function of the company. Before Dropbox, he held leadership roles with major tech companies like Facebook, Amazon and Riot Games (developer of the online game League of Legends), as well as finance giants like Farmers Insurance and Capital One. Fei is an accredited professional statistician of the American Statistical Association.
Fei came to UF in 2002 as an international student and is a proud Gator. He graduated with master’s degrees in statistics and business administration in 2004 and 2006. Fei served in UF’s student government and won the John Michael Stratton Award as outstanding student senator. He also served as president of the Friendship Association of Chinese Students and Scholars.
Before UF, Fei earned a bachelor’s in computer science from the University of Science and Technology of China. In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports, especially Gator football.
