As a fourth-generation Floridian, Allison Aubuchon is a public relations practitioner with more than 15 years of PR experience. As president of Allison Aubuchon Communications, LLC, she enjoys helping purpose-driven clients communicate, offering strategic planning, media relations, issue advocacy, messaging and coalition building frequently centered around legislative issues.

Before starting her business in 2016, Allison served as the Florida state communications and external affairs director for the Foundation for Excellence in Education and the Foundation for Florida’s Future, where she managed communications and grassroots initiatives in support of student-centered education reform. Prior to joining the Foundation, she served as press secretary for the Florida Senate Majority Office. Her communications career experience also includes serving as public relations manager for Capital City Bank and as PR account manager and corporate communications manager for Kidd Group, both headquartered in Tallahassee, Fla.

Allison graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in public relations and from Florida State University with a master’s degree in media and communication studies. She is a Florida Blue Key alumnus member and a lifetime member of Delta Delta Delta.

Living in Tallahassee, Fla., with her husband, Josh, and two young boys, JD and Walker, Allison enjoys gardening and giving time to organizations and causes near to her heart. Passionate about the State of Florida, she currently serves on the Tallahassee Board of Trustees for the Florida House on Capitol Hill (Florida’s “embassy” in Washington, D.C.), and on the UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital’s Tallahassee Leadership Council.
