Mohamad Merilan is from Orlando, FL with family originating from Haiti. As a first-generation student, he obtained his degree in Telecommunications with a concentration in Engineering at the University of Florida. With the help of NSBE and MLT, this led him to find his passion for digital transformation in financial services, also known as "Fintech". He is the Product Owner for Rates Trading Applications at UBS. In addition to his work, he loves to engage in philanthropic initiatives, play golf, and read books.
