As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I strive to "be the change" for persons seeking treatment for orthopedic dysfunction, pain and post-surgical care through the practice of evidence-based physical therapy. As a direct access provider, I am able to design efficient plans of care with patients' expectations, environmental factors, and participation in their life role considered to achieve superior outcomes for both the individual and the organization, along with communicating with their primary care physician or specialist of choice to improve quality of care through interdisciplinary care. I am driven to continuously adapt to the evolving healthcare environment and administration of physical therapy to meet the needs of the people of our community. As an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) member and credentialed clinical instructor, I welcome students seeking clinical experience placement to provide a challenging, knowledge-broadening experience to support the development of competent, empathetic and skilled physical therapists.
