I have a solid history of interacting with community leaders and the business community to communicate the value of an organization’s mission. Prior to coming to CDC, my career highlights include, Manager of Marketing and Communications for Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta (formerly Girl Scout Council of NW Georgia), District Marketing Executive for Atlanta Area Boy Scouts, and political consultant. My work history with nonprofit organizations and political consulting has well equipped me with capabilities in partnership development and program implementation, as well as an ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and partners.

Since joining CDC/OADC (formerly National Center for Health Marketing) in 2009, I have successfully managed relationships with outside vendors, facilitated communication workshops and trainings, coordinated presentations logistics for the agency, co-chaired an agency workgroup, led a community of practice and collaborated with all CDC CIO’s to create and promote content through various media channels

As a public health communicator, I value excellence in customer service therefore ensuring that in my role I will always provide quality service to internal/external customers, businesses, and community leaders.
