I am a professional communicator with an emphasis in digital/new media tools. Early in my career, I was assigned with and learned about various electronic communication media, from websites and blogs to social media and e-newsletters.
My most recent roles included overseeing web content, social media and electronic newsletters to employees and public audiences.
My coworkers and managers would say that I am a visionary problem-solver and use my experience and knowledge to find efficient solutions that help get work done better.
Originally planning to go to veterinary school, I began my education with a focus on math and science. I changed my major to communications and completed my undergraduate coursework at the University of Florida in its prestigious College of Journalism and Communications.
I am proficient in web content strategy, writing, editing, proofreading, media and community relations, public speaking and development of marketing collateral. My skills include basic computer software, the Adobe Creative Suite and basic HTML, as well as a variety of web content management systems and email service providers (MailChimp, Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor and others).
